since I'm not as computer savvy as most can someone tell me how to save a video I find, whether it's youtube or another site?

any help would be great

ok I tried what it said and it says error, but let me ask.

If I do get one of the sites like this to work and it downloads, then what do I do? I tried what it said, click here to download then change the extension to flv, but evidently I did something wrong.

Any ideas?

ok so here's the problem I got the files downloaded and "converted" now my media player won't play it. it says it can't find the codec and I have downloaded the recommended ones. How frustrating. grrrrrrr


any ideas?

Oh, cookie! We missed you. Ok, here's how you can do it.

1. Go here http://www.videocodezone.com/conversion.php
2. Copy and paste the link to the youtube video in the place provided.
3. Choose (from the dropdown) what type of file you want to convert it to. FOr example, if you wanna extract the song, you can use the .mp3 one. If you want the actual video, use .mp4

Hope that helps.
